The Challenge
I joined Elmo in its early growth phase, contributing to the scale-up from 100 to 1,000 active subscribers in just under two years.
The challenge was twofold: effectively positioning a subscription service for electric vehicles in a market where many consumers view EVs as an expensive alternative, and addressing the skepticism surrounding their adoption.
The focus was on highlighting the convenience and flexibility of Elmo’s subscription model while emphasizing the long-term value and sustainability of electric vehicles. Developing messaging that engaged potential users while building trust was essential in this environment.

Strategy and Results
* Expanded online partnerships from one to seven, which strengthened elmpo’s market presence and resulted in a 15% increase in referral traffic.
* Implemented SEO strategies for landing page and blog post content, leading to a 180% increase in targeted keywords ranking in the top 3 positions and over a 200% rise for those in positions 4-10 within a year.
* Developed content for monthly newsletters and product update emails, achieving a 15% increase in open rates and a 10% rise in engagement. This effort improved communication with subscribers and reinforced Elmo’s value proposition.
* Designed banners for performance marketing across key channels, including Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
* Regular KPI reporting provided insights that guided our strategies, allowing for effective adaptation to market needs and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
